Jerónimo Rajchenberg holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the Herb Alpert School of Music, at the California Institute of the Arts.
While keeping a busy solo carrier as a performer-composer, Jxel constantly engages in collaborative creations with legendary artists such as David Rosenboom, Yuval Sharon, Christopher García (USA), Mirsolav Tadic (Serbia), Horacio Franco (Mexico) and Nyoman Wenten (Indonesia) to name but a few.
His pedagogical endeavors go beyond social, linguistic, cultural and economic boundaries, ranging from workshops designed for vulnerable populations, to theory, composition and performance lectures and lessons in universities. His workshops, pedagogic concerts and lectures have reached hundreds of people all across the Americas.
Respectively, his presence in the media ranges from local magazines and newspapers to first order media such as the N.Y. Times, the L.A. Times and the Deutche Welle, KPFK and Radio UNAM to name a few.
